these were taken a few weeks ago but i never got round to posting them. the cut-out dress from uk glamorous isn't something i'd normally go for but i really like the detail and i should probably be euthanised for the boring-old-shit nature of the coming statement, but it's a great dress for work. (omg i went there).
the only real accessory here is colour. orange is the new red this summer, it's so fun & much less scary than it seems. this nail polish by technic is a perfect bright orange, not quite as fluro as models own 'beach party', but still shit hot. it was 99p in bodycare and for the price, surprisingly good quality. the lipstick i've owned (and loved) for yonks, you can really build it up to an almost offensively-bright orange, if you're gonna do it you gotta do it well!

ReplyDeleteDid you have any issues with the 17 lipstick? For me, it was always highlighting the lines in my lips, even if I'd applied a good amount of lip balm and exfoliated the lips! That aside, I like this outfit..a lot. :-)

I got a denim jacket whilst I was home from New Look and know I'm not gonna get much wear out of it now that its starting to get warm here so I did contemplate cutting the sleeves off but maybe I'll just look out for a sleeveless one instead!
